Remember HP2? Little hairy grey thing? One of the additional prizes when I couldn't pick a winner for my caption contest?
Amy recently sent me some photos to show me how the re-named Zac is settling in to his new life ......
After managing to fight his way out of a paper bag he seems to have taken to life in the new household.
Thanks for the smashing photos Amy, I hope that Zac is behaving himself and isn't drinking you out of house and home (I teach my monkees well ..... )
In other news, RGH is off on another of those mad rides tomorrow. When he told me he was going to be doing 75 miles I thought "Pah! That's nothing! I do 75 miles each day on my commute to work!" and then I thought ...... "no wait, I do 7.5 miles" tsk - me and my maths!
And after I posted about cycling possibly being his take on a mid-life crisis last week, we saw this in the Sunday papers. How apt!
Anyway, I'll have plenty of time for monkeeing around tomorrow so hopefully over the weekend I'll play catch up with the latest stunt monkees.
Happy Friday!

Now that made me laugh. Monkees drinking of course, perfectly natural but reading - Hahahahahaha.
Glad to see Zac has made himself at home. The cartoon made me giggle - we have a one-man-and-his-bike thing going on here too!!
Probably reading a bit of Darwin. Zac looks v natural with a beer in his hand - you are obviously a great Monkee Mentor.
Happy monkeying about this weekend. Wish my DH would get his bike out - he keeps involving me in his weekend DIY plans :(
Doesn't he know I want to 'create' whilst the kids wreck the house?
I kinda of wonder sometimes how you have enough time to knit the monkees - you have so many photo shoots.
I love that cartoon - definitely very appropriate although J's bike hasn't had much of a look in lately as he prefers running at the moment - not bad as he has episodes of crippling arthritis when he can barely walk! Running seems to be keeping it down amazingly! We still want to see more mini-monkeys, maybe merchandise? Lucy x
Aw, HP2 was so cute - it's good to see that he's gone to a great home with appropriate beverages laid on :o)
Thanks so much for taking part in my KSSP! I'm truly sorry about the stress involved though - if it's any consoslation, I got really nervous too when I tried the whole knitting-against-the-clock thing last night :o)
Hope you have a fun weekend with the new stunt monkees,
VCx
awwwwwwwww zac is SOOOOO cute! truly you amaze me, i don't think i could ever give ANY away! especially the lesser grey fuzzy beer quaffing monkees!
(i *definitely* have to read the whole archives, from the beginning; clearly i have missed much mirth and many monkees!) (OOF that lucy locket girl is becoming contagious!!!) :)
Zac is a true Renaissance monkee. I like that. (The cartoon fits my husband, too.)
have a great weekend...hope you take lots of photo'sof those cheeky fellows!!!

LOL- I can sympathize... with both y'all. I too am developing something with my bike, riding it to work ( unfortunately we are quickly approching the rainy season, so this "Love Affair" may be cut short here soon). But my DH has taken to playing On-line games, so I am often vying for time/attention against the other "love interest" (computer). Oh well, more time to knit!!
I have just spent a good few minutes chuckling at your blog. I love your monkees! as a fellow knitter I totally respect what you do!
thank you!
I absolutely loved going over your blog! It made me smile A LOT. Thanks. How does one go about getting a monkee of their very own, say for a two year old? Keep up the great blog.

Oh, PS. I wish we had muffins like that here. Heehee.
Well Vera is fast drinking me out of house and home. She's not that fussy either! Champagne, wine, beer, whisky, brandy... She's even tried muching her way through the fruit I've got soaking in brandy ready for the Christmads Cakes! Must go to Sainsbury's and buy more!
Hehe :) Glad to see that Zac has made himself right at home!
