If and when the stunt monkees ever find new homes, I'm hoping that they'll remain in touch .... or their people will, and won't be afraid to get their monkee on in public (then obviously send me pictorial evidence).

Okay, clearly this is a cultural reference - is that a little towel on HP1's head knotted into a little swim cap? I followed your link, but the cartoon doesn't shed much more light on the issue. I'd be old enough to remember it had I only grown up in the right part of the world...

Perhaps with this memory I am not actually suitable guardian for livewire stunt monkee. I may leave him hanging from cliffside and all monkee muscles may not be sufficiently developed like 007....
Oh, I remember that, so funny! Your stunt monkeys are having a great time, doesn't one of them want to learn to ski or snowboard? It would save me trying to decipher the pattern> No3 son has already stolen 2 of Michaelas squares for a blanket for his (as yet not knitted) monkey!

Oh, and as for the camping before the monkee sale begins - I'll bring homemade muffins (hehehe).

Rest assured, I'm doing my bit in the quest of knitted monkee world domination lol :) I've already got requests to knit at least 3 more :) Might even be brave enough to have a go at the smaller version... If I ever get my brain cells working properly enough for the conversion lol.

Also, re: washing machines - I never realised your stunt monkees were so famous. Did they really stunt-double for the tea-drinking one? Wow. I feel quite star-struck :o)
(BTW, you've given me a BRILLIANT idea! Forget the fiddly wool and tiny needles; you could make more mini-monkees by boil-washing average HPs! No?)

That little head-ker-chief reminds me of the time (maybe 2 years ago?) that the President of Italy got plugs/a hair transplant! Does anyone but me remembe the crazy pictures of him sporting a "doo-rag"?!

I am definitely old enough to remember this gem; in fact I am also celebrating my 60th this year. The BBC did approach me with an offer of a free keyring in exchange for sole rights to my early photograph albums, but I have turned them down. I'm holding out for a keyring, a pen and a boxed set of Mrs Dale's Diary.

At first I thought HP1 was sick and "ickied" on the paper, what a relief to find it is just a map of far off lands.
I'm sure HP1's person didn't mean YOU, I'm mean who wouldn't love a knitted monkee. It must have been a gentle reminder to not waste your talent on silly things like scarves and such- but to conitnue on the bold path of (knitted)Monkee domination of the world.
