..... hmm, I really don't know what I was thinking with that title, but don't you find it tricky to come up with post titles sometimes? I do.
Anyway, for enquiring eyes who want to know, this is what my new bag looks like .....
.... sorry, Kitty, it's not leather, but it is a rather lovely brown canvas and was only eight quid at Asda. Bargain!
And, as I pointed out to RGH, it carries so much stuff "that I may never need another bag ever again!". I love how he believes this kind of garbage .....
Amongst lots of other things, in the top picture it was carrying .....

..... a monkee .....
..... a monkee and a pigeon .....
..... a monkee and a pigeon .....
..... a monkee and a pigeon and a chocolate bunny that refuses to die .....
..... a monkee and a pigeon and a chocolate bunny that refuses to die and some really cute chocolate Easter chicks from my colleague (which are also too cute to chomp) .....
..... a monkee and a pigeon and a chocolate bunny that refuses to die and some too-cute-to-chomp chocolate Easter chicks and some 007 playing cards ..... no, Lauren, I wasn't kidding .....
Oh, and my camera. Which I obviously couldn't take a picture of, but you get the idea. One very accommodating (and heavy) bag.
Also, when we went down to Cornwall recently, we stopped off in Sainsbury's and a very nice lady informed me that if I purchased a pack of PG Tips teabags, she'd give me a free bag. A free bag .... with a monkey on it!
(monkee in it not included)
Two new bags in one week. Fabulous!
In monkee knitting news I'm embarrassed that I've been so lax recently. So embarrassed that I'm thinking of changing my blog name to .... oh, I don't know .... 'Used to be a Monkee Maker but isn't really anymore' or something equally catchy.
But I'm happy to report that another monkee made of knit has finally been completed and has been added to the finished monkee tally ..... currently running at ..... two ..... ahem .....
(..... but there are five more in various stages of completion .... )

Honestly, this world domination malarkey is taking longer than anticipated ..... maybe if I spent less time doing this .....
..... and this .....
..... and more time actually knitting monkees, then it might just happen a lot quicker .....

You're right, it is hard to come up with post titles sometimes but I think you played an ace with the totey one.
I just stopped by to see if there were... any err... monkee mittens around.
Pah.
I love that the rabbit will not die!! Do you think 007 hasn't realised he's made of chocolate yet??
World domination is hard thats for sure. Do knitted monkeys not breed in captivity?
Just think how much lighter your lovely new bag would be if you ate all the chocolate!
I am in awe of your restraint - they'd have been dismembered and digested, before they even got near a handbag, in this house!
That's a very pretty monkee that you've sneaky peaked there.
To achieve world Monkee domination it's obvious that all you really need to do is stop having a life :)
xxx
We have two "rabbits that won't die" on top of our fridge. I think their days are numbered though, all the other chocolate is nearly finished.
Nice tote btw (oo-er). My DH doesn't understand about the quest for the perfect handbag. It's obviously a girl thing.
love
I don't know how you manage to not eat all that chocolate. We had to eat our rabbit, GruikGruik wanted the bell....
Love your bags.
Thanks for passing by.
That bag is enough to make me go out and buy PG Tips, although him indoors won't know what to do without his twinings. He's very particular. I drink coffee so I don't care so much...
As Tripitaka would say, the monkee making mojo will return at the right time...
What I really want to know is...
...if the chocolate rabbit melts in your bag amoungst all that stuff, will the next post be a photo of you desperately trying to eat the squished chocolate off the wrapper?
That would be really funny and something I would certainly do!

P.S.
Knit faster!
HP32 wants a girlfriend and he's getting restless!
Better yet, eat the chocolate rabbit WHILE knitting his girlfriend...we are fine with a few chocolate stitches.

Great bags
Great bag contents
Great knitted things
Great post
Get knitting
I just like seeing 007 so I don't mind if you don't manage to knit more monkees :)
I think the title is tote-ally fab ( :-D ) I have made it my mission to try to make myself a tote bag - never done one before. And despite Mrs Moogsmum giving me much advice on the issue of 'gussetry' I find I still don't know where to start. Ho hum.
That's a lovely bag - I'd have bought it in a second. It suits RGH - that's the main thing, surely? ;-) I also love your green flowery, heart-y drawing. If I had a tablet and pen, I'd spend loads of time doing it too.

What? Daniel Craig is your favourite Bond? I thought he was rubbish - that part in the film where he got strapped naked to a chair with no seat in was just the funniest and most hideously over acted thing I've ever seen! Absolute tosh!!!
Give me Sean Connery any day of the week. Or better still, I'd love Bond, Knitted Bond.
And get that bunny eaten woman, before I come over there and do him in myself. He'll be past his sell by date soon - and gone off choclate is a very bad thing.
Love the tote and wow it holds soooo much.
As I said in the previous comment, I'll be happy to help out on the bunny front - and those little ones that I didn't see before!!
I am still doing my bit for monkee domination for you and hope to have another one completed by the end of the week. It seems most of my family 'must have' a monkee and only a hairy one will do!!
p.s you left a few crumbs on your muffin wrapper - you're slacking!!
Kaz xx
A tote for buying tea?! I buy tea all the time and never get a tote :o(
Nice bags.
Ooh, lovely bag - these enquiring eyes feel it was worth the wait to see it :o)
And the monkey bag isn't bad, either. Although some might say it's a little bit greedy to get two new bags in one fell swoop...
Glad to see a new monkee recruit, but sorry to hear you're still finding monkee completion a bit of a struggle. Just keep plugging away at it and don't let it become a chore.

PS. four of the eight letters in your word verification are f.
PPS. which I now realise is probably not worth commenting on. Sorry.
Maybe you should eat the bunny to get much needed strength to finish more monkeys?
Nice tote, but the monkey design on it needs to be bigger, I can't easily see it. What's the point of having a tote bag if you can't show off the money on the tote.... Oh wait, it's not suppose to have a monkey on it?
Nice tote. Needs more monkeys.
I love all your bags! :)
Oh, I saw your chocolate bunny at the book store yesterday. I really wanted to buy one and eat it. :D
hey i was just wondering when you do your drawings what programme do you draw them in....
As i said before i too CANNOT eat any animal shaped easter treats...sigh
xox eve xox
Great restraint on the chocy bunny - you may need to see the chiropractor after lugging that bag around.
Love the "teabag", haven't seen that one here (note to self, go shopping).
Monkee domination is progressing here, along with a few sheep!
haHAha...i am reading eve's quote above me..."love the *TEABAG*" indeed!!! :)
love the teabag, love the regular bag, love the monkees, love the post, looooooove the 007 playing cards, (so much so that i will not stop here and harrangue michaela for being so, SOOOO wrong on the subject of d. craig!) LOVE and adore your flowery heart-y drawings, and i especially love the title! (tho i agree that title-age is often the most difficult part of blogging and when google finally comes to their senses and devises the "random blogpost title generator" that is so clearly necessary for modern t'internet life to continue smoothly, i will be amongst the first to sign up for their premier service, even if it occasionally means tailoring my posts to fit their randomly generated titles like "four killed in bizzarre turnip-carving accident"...b/c hey, let's face it, NOT KNOWING anything about a particular subject has never stopped me from going on at length...even in someone else's blog comments, now has it??!) :)
ps: yes, monkee-knitting...or at least an attempt thereof...is high on my list of vacationary pursuits. i have downloaded and printed the sirdar pattern you have so kindly linked to and now need only to gather supplies...oh yeah...and find a cute bag in which to carry them! ;)
ohh I love the put the kettle on bag, I do. I want one, I'm off to Sainsbury's to hassle them, I am. I shall throw pg tips teabags at them until they submit!!
I love what you have in your bag, it is far more exciting than what is in mine. An empty purse, and some kleenex.
Wondering if your post title was actually "toke" - might explain a few of the funnier posts...
ps: Am I REALLY old because I MIGHT know the 1970/1980's word for taking a drag on a "wacky tobacky" cig? Don't answer that.
ps: was going to treat myself to a little Lindt bunny and realized when I got to the sales counter that someone had already taken a bite - through the foil wrapper! Ewwwe!
: )
Where do you get your patterns for your monkees? Seriously - he is sooo cute.

Obviously I'm a new reader (see above). I just discovered you SELL your monkees - I'll be watching for the next ones........
Your title is great MM! I stopped even TRYING to think of catchy titles way back!!
Love your new bags! xx
Chocolate does not last around here, and we don't care what it looks like! Admirable restraint on your part, I must say.
~Elaine~
lol @ telling RGH you may never need another bag ever. even my 10 year old knows I'm lying when I say that. in fact he has taken to tightening his grip on me if we go past a bag shop, so I can't make a dash for it.
have you seen PGtips are also giving away monkey tea towels with their tea bags.
