I've been ogling the pictures of your Tenby accommodation- very swanky indeed! And I reckon that a muffin eating a cinnamon swirl is not cake cannabalism. If it was eating a slice of victoria sponge then yes, but as the cinnamon swirl is pastry-like one would presume it is not from the same cake family... this would make a very interesting debate.
