No, your kitchen is much nicer than mine even when its a tad unkempt. No mines not messy as we've had no food since Boxing Day and I refuse to go food shopping til ooh at least February when the sales crowds go away. Ok so we may starve but that helps the diet doesnt it?
Mine's not like that yet. I'm starving my family but at least the kitchen is tidy.
Once the traditional steak pie is made for this afternoon my kitchen will be much much worse.

Monkee New Year!
I don't know what my kitchen looks like. Breakfast making and clearing up of same is strictly a male occupation in this household. Lunch was two mince pies found abandoned on the coffee table and half a litre of water from the bottle down the side of the sofa. In another hour or so I shall cautiously stick my head out of my study door and sniff. If I do not detect the aroma of food, I shall assume that it is my turn to cook dinner, and then I shall create my own brand of mayhem in the kitchen, always bearing in mind that I shall have to clear up afterwards. My kitchen looks a lot like that, and my laundry room too - sans the disapproving monkey. I think my day may be a lot like yours :) I'm seized by a very out-of-character desire to straighten up and clear the decks, weird new year motivation - not to worry, it won't last long.

My kitchen isn't like that as I went away Christmas day until last night and today I had dinner at my parents so no cooking has been done here!! Whoo!! However, it will revert back to like yours tomorrow.

Yes, my kitchen looked like that, maybe a bit worst. I had a happy morning trying to clean it up. :( But making some kettle corn and a cup of gingerbread hot cocoa really helped. :)
