I feel pretty ..... oh so pretty .....

Lucy Locket asked why there aren't more pictures of me on my blog. Well, Lucy, I'm glad you asked. Apart from the fact that I'm usually always the one behind the camera, the real reason is that I don't like my face.

I have some deep-rooted face issues. But that's fine, that's ok, I'm sure lots of people don't like their face. I'll probably grow into mine one day.

In fact, when I was with my sister a couple of days ago, I came to realise that actually, I'm quite a corker. So I thought I'd share with you just how gorgeous I really am.

My Rather Fabulous Sister and I .....

..... oh yeah ..... we've really got it going on ......

And you can see where Rather Beautiful Daughter 1 gets her stunning looks .....

...... and Rather Beautiful Daughter 2's big blue eye(s) ......

Oh no, wait. Scrub that. They obviously get them from their Dad .....

Much fun was had by all, playing with my Sister's Mac Photobooth, but please rest assured that I'm not going to share all 70 photos with you.

..... how about just nine more?

..... in ..... oh, I don't know ..... let's say ..... collage form?

..... who needs therapy when there's Mac Photobooth .....

Many thanks for all the birthday wishes for RGH on the last post, I think they all must have gone to his head. Last night he asked if he could borrow my sketching tablet and pen. I suppose I should have been concerned, as he's a big fan of Itchy and Scratchy.

...... you may want to take that as a warning ......

..... well this kind of cartoon is never going to catch on, is it?

It's a great cartoon!! Pigeon Power! I hope that you managed to sew 007 back together!

I like the look from Mac's photobooth - I've never really played about with it - will need to try it!

Hahahahahahaha ... fabulous photo faffing there. I've never heard of Mac Photobooth, but love what it can do (though perhaps RBD2 might need her thyroid levels checked? :-O )

That's a very 'male' cartoon that RGH made isn't it? A bit of blood and gore, and an explosion thrown in for that little extra 'something'. No.2 thinks it's fabulous.

I think your Hubby has a undiscovered talent there! My boys wholeheartedly approve of that cartoon. x

Wow what a good looking family!!! You are exactly as I imagined you ;)

I have to agree with you about RGH's cartoon - there is no place for mindless Monkee violence.....although it is very funny :)

Most important - Thank you very much for the great parcel received as a prize for naming Gregory Peck. Lots of lovely goodies and much appreciated. Now I don't approve of Gregory doing that to 007! He'd better watch out for the revenge! Good toy that sketchpad and the photobooth. xx

Is it me...or does RGH look a bit like Tony Blair in the top middle photo on the collage???! LOL :)

Please slap RGH's wrists and promise NEVER to let him near your sketching tablet again! I'm deep in trauma and nearly (but not quite) shaking!

LOVE those photos! Fran

That pigeon is nothing but trouble. Monkey revenge is called for here. But first 007 needs lots of TLC. His choice of tv programme, a big cream cake, a cup of hot chocolate need I go on. Poor 007.

PMSL @ RGH's cartoon. Itchy and scratchy would be proud!

Loving the family portraits. Very......er..... Avant Garde ;)

Hope you enjoyed your jollies.

Fab photos - what a gorgeous bunch you are! So kind of you to share them with us!

What a gorgeous bunch you all are!

I actually found RGH's cartoon hilarious, I think you may have some competition there. Before you know it, he'll have his own blog and will be stealing monkees for his own enjoyment. Oooeerrr that doesn't sound good!!!

What beautiful family portraits. They're worth framing. Now, I don't know whether to say "aww, poor 007" or "heh heh heh- excellent cartoon". Have you noticed in cartoons it's always the smaller of the two that's evil?
Thanks for the drawing tablet link, it looks really good and more affordable than the one i've been ogling!

Amazing... my family look exactly like yours! If you are really clever with Photobooth you can make your boobs look enormous and have the tiniest waist ever without surgery!

I cannot believe that Greg has blown up 007 - I hope he recovers in time for the next installment.

ah photobooth. We too have spent many an hour taking silly pictures of ourselves on this great mac feature - you just never get bored of it.

I love the itchy and scratchy style cartoon too - I think Greg has been building his anger for a while now - that 007 has been treating him pretty badly of late.

Also, thanks for your order - it was posted today so hopefully you should have it in a day or two.

Does your wicked husband not know that knitted monkeys can not be distoyed as they can be sewn back up?

Happy belated birthday to RGH! I'm sadly behind in my blog reading (what was I thinking, not checking in with Monkee Maker. Tsk). I think it's worth owning a Mac for Photobooth alone...

OMG is everyone in your family a mega-talented award-winnin' cartoonist then?! apparently so. crocheted birds of a feather, flocking together one assumes. :)

well done, RGH! not to mention belated birthday ballyhoo (sorry, that's a forced alliteration but i have 15 seconds to do this and i'm going for a personal best of squishing as many topics in as possible!)

btw, mrs monkeemaker, i have filed paperwork at somerset house to have your familys' "R's" officially repealed. since i can see no indication of any RATHER-ness here! no sirree bob! there are only clearcut, un-qualified adjectives in these parts! you may all choose to adopt "I's" if you feel the need for 3-letter acronyms. as in "indisputably gorgeous husband"..."indisputably beautiful" daughers... "indisputably mad matriarch"...and so forth. i had intended to use the last post's pics as my evidence...but i think today's macphotobooth fodder is even better to make my case!

BTW, can i get macfries with that??!

Those photos are hysterical and some just a little scary! And as for the cartoons - perfect and definitely destined to catch on! Very belated Happy Birthday to RGH!

Oh my... better not show this one to the kids!!! Poor 007! And your family is so lovely... I actually did this in college when digital cameras first came out and used them to do drawings (weird!). My kids would love to get a "makeover"!

That photo booth stuff is scary!! I'd like to see photos of 007 morphed like that, if he'd allow it.....
