My guy's mad at me .....

..... well, he will be when he sees some of these photos ..... but first of all, here's the final cartoon instalment of our trip .....

Thanks for humouring me while I showed off my new pen and drawing tablet toy, and if you could just indulge me once more, as I dedicate this post to RGH, My Rather Gorgeous/Geeky Husband, whose birthday it is today. And who I've bought nothing.

In my defence, last year, for his 40th, I arranged a long weekend in Prague as a surprise, and while we were there we were immortalised forever in a glass block .....

..... which, quite frankly, I think is enough of a gift that should be allowed to roll over to this year too, but I guess that's debatable.

So here are a few shots which should make him happy ..... RGH and his greatest love ..... cycling ....

He's always been a fan ..... right from an early age .....

..... and a fan of head-bands too ......

He's a fine figure of a man in lycra .....

..... and his dedication to his art is truly amazing .....

This was his highlight of our weekend away ......

...... whereas this was mine .......

So here, as a special birthday treat for me RGH, is a rather gorgeous collage of the birthday boy .....

Happy Birthday RGH

Finally, an Easter message from my current favourite double-act .....

Mrs, have you heard that chocolate is probably not good for primates and pigeons (sorta like its not good for dogs)? Just thought you should pass this info along to your troops so they will understand when you snatch it away from them (for their own good)!

Happy Birthyday RGH. Glad to see a boy's childhood interests can last through to manhood. (Does your current bike have the lovely 'sit up and beg' handlebars complete with streamers??)

Hippo Birdie Two Ewes to RGH - hope he has a splendiferous birthday (biking, maybe?) Lovely collage of the birthday boy.

I must say that I am a huge fan of your new pen and tablet toy - how come you are so brilliant at it, when it's new? I'm very impressed. Can we have lots more cartoony things? Please?

In the U.S. the "sit up & beg" handlebars are called "Ape Hangers"

Happy Birthday to the Hubs!

Happy Birthday RGH :o) Hope you're not too down about not getting a gift... although, what a super pressie last year, eh? Sounds great, anyway (And that glass-block portrait is very beautiful).

Anyway, enjoy the rest of your day, both of you... wind and driving rain notwithstanding :o( Great weather for stopping in and knitting, actually... although I guess that will please one of you more than the other ;o)

I love your money cartoons. We have also just bought a wacom tablet - more for Mr Monda really, and he's taking to it pretty well, as are you by the looks of it. My drawings look like they are done by a child using the hand that's not the drawing/writing hand. The word i would use to describe is is not very PC, so i won't soil your blog with it.

Happy Easter MM!

Atleast your wife put decent pictures of you on the blog. You should take a peek at the one I put on mine last week of my dh after our teenage girls got hold hold of him for a make over!

Happy Birthday to your husband!!! My husband's birthday is tomorrow, and I haven't gotten him anything either. :( It's hard to find the right gifts.

Anyway, I love the picture of you and your husband in the glass. You guys are too cute.

And, I love your new toy. You're making incredible cartoons there. I'm enjoying them thoroughly. :D

Happy b-day to RGH (never has a man made lycra look sooooo good!)

In total agreement that being imortalized in glass should count for more than one b-day gift - though not when it is MY birthday, mind you : )

Glad you liked the posey!

ps: love your newest toy/doodle pad

First, Happy Birthday to your husband!!! Second, I am so jealous that you got that cool drawing tablet!!! I'm loving your illustrations! And third, Happy Easter (a day late!) !!! You still have all year to celebrate the birthday too... at least that's the rule in our house! And the birthday boy or girl gets to decide just how that will be celebrated (within reason... or else I'd be getting back massages every night of the year!!). Have a great week!!!
