DO NOT let your unattended monkee anywhere near cars ......
..... you never know what cunning plan they'll come up with to rid themselves of you .....
In weekend news, on Saturday the postie brought me some lovely gifts from Lesley, aka Moogsmum .....
...... as a Thank you for her monkee, Ruby; one of her beautiful corsages - the exact one that I'd asked if I could purchase - and a bespoke cup holder, which came in very handy at the coffee shop yesterday. Thank you, Lesley, they're great (as were the Quality Street chocs which didn't actually last long enough to be photographed .....)
And I stand corrected about movie sequels, after watching Die Hard 4.0. I thought the one with Alan Rickman in it was good, and the Jeremy Irons one (can't remember which numbers they were) but this one was even better ..... 007 was on the edge of the seat too .....
...... ok, so it was a tad far-fetched in places, but I'll forgive Bruce anything ..... even covering up the vest with another shirt throughout the film. (I knew it was there, all along .... getting dirty and sweaty in the background. In fact it really was the unsung hero of the film ....)
Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't be going back to work today ..... I'm quite clearly ill .....

No! No! Don't go back to work! Scientifically proven to be bad for your health, much better plan to stay at home creating monkee stuff.
Curses raining on me as I type that come the appointed hour on Wed. a.m. (assuming another early kickoff?) I will porb. not have access to a computer! Aaaagh!! How have I let this situation come to pass?
(Note to self - check all future life dates with Monkee Maker before firing up plans......)
I'm seriously worried about you MM - I really think you need to see a doctor, QUICKLY!
MM - very sorry you must go back to work. I trust you have been teaching the primates in your home how to knit! They can take up the slack while you are working away from home. Better yet, let them go to work and you can knit up more monkees.
The non-monkee owners out here in the ether are waiting on tenterhooks for the next knit monkee sale. (please hurry, tenterhooks are terribly uncomfortable)
SQUASH! ;o)
Stine had a good idea with teaching the monkees to knit more of themselves but you'd really have to keep an eye on 007 - knowing him, he'd stage a monkee revolt and then where would you be?
A "tad" far fetched! Hmmm ok lol
I love your pics of your monkey :0)
It does sound as if another week off is in order. Work will do you no good. It will only add to your stress levels as it'll get in the way of monkee making and with everyone clamouring for monkee goodness the pressure is piling up. Definitely grounds for a bit of paid sick-leave.
My Mum was rather partial to Bruce's vest and I am a chip off the old block on that one :) The sweatier the better.
love Lesley xx
I think you definitely need another week off. Squishing monkees is a sign of someone neeeeeeding time off.
I loved Die Hard 4.0... good old Brucie... and yes, it was very, very far-fetched; but really, what else could you expect? Personally, I'd have been disappointed if it was at all believable :o)
VCx
He is a stunt monkee... so getting up close to cars and evil geniuses are part of the job description!
Ugh, work - what are you doing that for????!!!
Now will I be able to snap something up in the wednesday shop? I'm poised already!!!!
Oh, I thought of another good sequel - BOND FILMS (casino royale was, methinks, the best one ever!)
You mentioned Alan "The Voice" Rickman...
*swooooooooooooooooooooon*
Love your gifts, they are gorgeous!
Lucky you!
Ouch, poor unattended monkee!
You are lucky to get goodies from Lesley! They look fabulous!
