Gorgeous Goodies Galore and a Prison break

Our postman/lady/person has been busy recently, and not just with the usual bills, bank statements and bike bits. Two more packages arrived for me and I couldn't wait to show them off ....

Last week I visited Gigibird's and Stella's Etsy shop, Gigibird & Florence Hope and bought two lovely corsages ..... only one of which I can show and tell I'm afraid, as the other is for a gift .....

(well, this one is a gift too ..... but for ME!)

And the other package contained my winnings from Rosie, after I entered her recent caption competition. This brilliant calendar ......

..... and this work of art in chocolate form. Really, I don't know whether to eat it or just stand back and admire it .....

(that's obviously a blatant lie)

Thank you so much, Gigibird and Rosie, for such great goodies.

They also very kindly included some other gifts in their parcels but these are staying strictly under wraps until a suitable storyline has been concocted. Oh, and suitable light levels would be handy too (let's say next summer then?)

Moving on to the monkee content of this post ..... have you heard of that TV programme, Prison Break, where a man gets himself sent to prison, having previously had his whole body tattooed with plans of the prison, so that he can break himself and his innocent brother out?

I have too.

Anyway, here's a picture of 007 trying to break out of our house .....

..... unsuccessfully, I might add. Maybe having the plans of our house embroidered all over his little knitted body would have helped .....

And I'll leave you with today's thought for the day ......

Lovely goodies you have there MM and that chocolate looks mmmmmm. Love your winning caption BTW and now v curious to know the difference between a Brazillian and a Hollywood or then again maybe best not to know!!!
As for 007's break out attempt - if he needs the plans Ruby said she hid them in her stuffing when you weren't looking ;)

Poor 007. He obviously had too much beer last night. It's clear from the photographic evidence that he is actually trying to BREAK IN to your house, not out! Maybe Ruby has some common sense rules in her stuffing too!!!!!

That corsage is one of the loveliest I've seen - really pretty.

007 is going to catch his death of cold, leaving his rear end hanging out of windows in this weather! :-) x

Hehe :) 007 is obviously looking for adventures!

We have a Hotel Chocolat in Canterbury so I'm definitely going to have to go in there for some of that white chocolate and raspberry goodness.

Poor 007, if he really wants to escape, there's a comfy bed and a very lovely mummy here who'd give him chocolate all day long, and let him hog the remote control to the telly....pssst, 007....do it, escape to my house, I'll love you more than her ;)

I'd be hard-pressed to say which pic is my fav today - you've out-done yourself!

ps: don't watch prison break on tv but I'd spend hours watching 007 in his "break-out" role.

Lovely corsage! Lucky you :) 007 is not that lucky though.. he should have seen it coming! Hasn't been climbing that many trees lately, has he.. Climbing neads to be practiced often!! (and drinking a lot of beer doesn't actually help either..) *lol*

Lovely goodies there, MM!

And ah, Prison Break... NBM used to make me watch that with her, but I gave up during the second series. I'll be honest, Teabag starting creeping me out too much. But if they re-did it with monkeys, maybe I'd start watching again :o)
