Monkey Army

I'm assembling my own monkey army. A monkey army to rival the vicious chicken's. Watch out, VC, even though they're not made of knit I'll bet my monkey army could take your monkey army with their hands behind their backs. ....... make that painted to their sides.

(Charity shop find. 75p. Bargain!)

Actually, scrub that ......

They'd probably just topple over like the bunch of monkey skittles they really are.

This one's my favourite .......

(don't tell the others)

Can you believe that I have not one but two new stunt monkees to share with you, and I post this? I can't either.

Love the skittles! Just to let you know Vera has been very busy - went to school with me on Friday and then went bowling yesterday. She's having a great time and is really behaving. Blimey though, she can eat chocolate for England!

(Poor bunny from yesterday - told you I don't like cats. It's not your fault RGH, don't let RMW - rather mad wife - try and blame you. At least the HGV end was quick!)

You little tease, you! Although I am now really looking forward to seeing the new stunt monkees whenever they feel ready to make their first appearance.

Sorry about the comment I left last night. I really was *very* drunk - so you're not the only one who posts impulsive comments when they've been drinking! And I do feel suitably be-prized (a word?) by the monkey army-themed posting this morning :o)

Found your blog via suzyb's blog and ... O..M..G!!! I love your monkeys!!! I need (read NEEEEEED!!!!) one of my own!! Now this comes from someone who hasn't knitted since... since... ummm... many many moons ago... but I am determined to knit my own monkey and if it's the last thing I do lol. I could try and blame this bout of madness on my stinking cold... Won't work with people who know me though lol. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks :) There was something missing in my life and I didn't know what it was... until I realized it's a knitted monkey!!! :)

Your skittle army is cute. Sort of. And also sort of scary (but this may be one of my personal traumata again..).

As for the withholding of stunt monkee pics there's only two words to say:
Geneva Convention.

Love the skittles. Poor bunny from yesterday though. And poor RGH - that's what too much exercise will do to you. I'll stick to my knitting

Oooh, more stunt monkeys! Can't wait to see them. Skittles have a lot of personality but I can't help but think that they'll be easy targets for 007.

these are very very cute...but yes, they would be sitting ducks...errrrr...monkees...should any of their more flexible bretheren take to leapin' about recklessly. how fortunate that such behavior is totally un-monkee-like! ...OOF!... (nevermind, sorry.)
