Papa's got a brand new bag

...... well, ok, Papa hasn't, but only because he refused to model it, and I so wanted to get the God Father of Soul's lyrics in somewhere.

Anyway. I'VE got a brand new bag. After realising that I was never going to fill up that huge sack with stunt monkees ..... not this side of Christmas anyway ..... I made myself a new one .......

...... and LOOK!! It's already full!

Hmmm, I just can't seem to get the sizing of the stunt monkee sack quite right.

And as it's Monday and none of us really like Mondays ..... don't get me started on song lyrics again ..... I'll leave you with this thought ......

Happy Monday. And try not to worry ..... it'll be Friday before you know it.

CUTE bag!! Certainly more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

I love the chocolate sentiment. It reminds me of my old email signature from college: "Everyone has to believe in something. I believe I'll have another cookie."

Cool Bag! I like this one - "If you've got chocolate on your hands - you're obviously not eating it fast enough!"

Yay for gorgeous monkey bag!

Have seen card sentiment before but substitute 'drinking' for'chocolate' .

I so love your new bag!!!! Is there no end to your talents?

I found a free pattern for a knitted skull/pirate bag on the Talk like a Pirate Day site - how cool is that? ...Just need a few more hours in the day now... lol.

Happy Monday :)

Needn't be Friday. Wednesday would do . On Wednesday my in-laws are going home - need I say more?
Bought choc chip cookies this morning to ease Monday Malice. Didn't help. Think I need copious amounts of Gü.

You know how I said that you'd be bound to fill up the sack of stunt monkees in no time? Well, shrinking the sack wasn't quite what I had in mind... but it's such a great bag, and the stuntees look so cute peering out of it, that I suppose I can let you off :o)

Just so long as this doens't mean you're going to stop making monkees, though. Maybe you could make another of those fabtastic bags and try to fill that too? (It is a really great bag!)

Repeat mantra to self: "Must.Make.Monkee.Mountain.Bigger!"

I should hang that quote on my office wall! :)

You have so got to make more of those bags. Amazing! I want one too. Please Monkee Maker? You're not mad. Honest. But I am - £46 being as you asked.... (and the special needle and pattern made it creep up even more. Gulp. Guilty feelings!)

PS pretty please, and it doesn't matter who from, VC is getting this much monkee-demanding too ;) I think it is the hand holding getting in the way of speedy knitting as usual - but I love it anyway

If you think the bag is too full of monkees you may offload one or two onto me. I have a perfect monkee-sized bag right here!

Monkeys and bags?! you are so clever, I really would not have the patience, I think thats why I admire your creations so much, cards are so quick, I apreciate the time and effort that you must spend. I made a bear once(sewing) after being inspired by crafty blogs. It took me so long, I thought I'd better stick to card making! (perhaps I will post a pic of the bear one day for you to laugh at!!)

My Paper World. I bet your bear could not hold a candle to the dinosaur I made. Have just mentioned it my husband and a smile crept across his taciturn jaw - even after 14 years it still makes him laugh!

As penance you must send that bag -or the preemie primate - to ME!!!!

ps: note to Michaela - and I quote - "Qiviut for the discerning yarn connoisseur."

now THAT'S a cute bag (you should sell'em - sans the stunt monkees - let people get their own stunt monkees) it is A-dorable! and that chocolate quotes a keeper :-)

Does your talent have no bounds? That is an awesome bag!!!! (you really need to open a monkee shop)

Those monkees are just the best! I love the bag and can't understand why they don't all just squeeze in a little more!!

Just found your blog thru someone elses and have spent the day reading thru it - it's taken all day, but I've been giggling like crazy. I felt I had to read the lot so I can get to grips with their personalities cos they are real right?!

Love the bag and the monkeys :)

The shot of the Monkeys in the bag reminds me of my family- a bunch of monkeys massed together.

Cute bag- it could be a start to a whole new clothes line with monkeys on them. MonkeeWear by MonkeeMaker...or something like that.
