Today I'm mostly doing this ......

While trying not to think about this ......

...... RGH's lycra-clad botty

or this .......

RBD1's hell-hole of a bedroom

or this .......

Ditto RBD2's

or the devastation that four teenagers are currently wrecking on my lounge

(note to Lucy Locket : bet my kids are messier than your kids!)

or this .......

...... a raspberry and white choc chip muffin. Mmmmmmm.

I'll maybe definitely think about that last one tomorrow though.

Hope you're having a super smashing marvellous weekend - whatever you're doing.

Well, yours nearly win as they have 2 rooms to destroy! Dorothy is never as untidy as Isla and Fred, so I only ever really face one room that BAD! Now calm yourself girl, and stop thinking about your husband's behind! Have a good weekend! Lucy x

Oh my word - I thought my 6 & 7 year olds rooms were bad but at least in their case it's all toy mess and they leave the clothes drawers shut. Looks like I have fun ahead! Having said that Sos currently has the entire living room covered in K'nex xxx

Ooooh, do I spy the beginnings of a green monkey? I'm hoping to make a green one next... good looking AND perfectly camouflaged for hiding amongst the house plants (quite likely a necessary measure, in my case - NBM has been threatening to re-instate the 'No More Monkeys' rule soon, so I may need to get tactical...)

Enjoy that muffin tomorrow,
VCx

It's not that easy being green...but I like the thought of a green monkey, myself. Funny, my living room looks a lot like RBD1's and RBD2's rooms (there's a reason my knitting corner photo was such a tight shot), except instead of clothes strewn about, it's wooden blocks, cars, barnyard animals, little cotton rabbits, etc., etc.

He,He,He! just watched your monkee movies, great stuff, I love visiting your blog! and the faux stitching is made by piercing lots of holes and then joining them up with a pen. I do have a mini sewing machine, but I havent mastered the art of turning it on yet! Im sure, it must be quicker!!
have a fab weekend. xx

Oh, those room shots take me back... I only ever used to get round to cleaning mine when I could no longer see the floor. The weird thing is that as soon as I left home to go to university, I always kept my room really tidy... then I'd go home for the holidays and it would be this uncontrollable tip again.

My parents hid me (and my room) in the basement... always a good option if you have one handy.

Yes, I'm back! I didn't take that many photos at the cabin, mainly because I got worse(with the CFS), so I had to stay in bed/on the sofa instead of taking pictures. These are what I got, though:

Hopefully I will feel better next time, then I'll be crawling around in the sand taking pictures of crabs, tiny fishes, guls and swiming deer(ok, maybe not the deer, they seem to swim late at night when there's no people around) ;)

Is that a GREEN monkey? :D

tLove the room shots, it reminds me of my room as a kid...and maybe just a tad like my sewing/knitting/catch-all room.

I preffer to think of it as a "Creative Clutter". It sounds so much more productive then it really is.
