Friends for dinner

We had our other set of friends over for wine and beer dinner last night (yes, we only have two sets of friends ..... we're horribly unsociable and massively lazy at friend maintenance). These friends aren't monkey marauders.

But apparently our kids, when they get together, are .......

I have nothing more to say on the matter*. Apart from : my head hurts.

In other news, I was happy to discover that there's a new maker of monkeys on the block (quite literally as it turns out), the vicious chicken, who has left lots of sassy comments on my blog, has taken the plunge into the murky waters of blogland, so I hope you'll go over and welcome her to the party. Unless her monkeys turn out to be better than mine, in which case, don't. Just stay here. Ok?

*Monkee Maker does not condone violence of any kind to monkeys made of knit. Or real monkeys. Despite how it may appear on this blog.

Thanks for the mention MM :o) Quite a few of your fans seem to have visited my chicken and left a comment - very exciting!

Monkee maker please tell me that is a knitted doughnut/party ring/cakey thing stuffed into the mouth of that poor defenceless monkey. (Obviously not 007 as he would have karate chopped and charmed his way out of such a dangerous situation with only his left eyebrow quirked to indicate any effort! [I wasn't in from the beg. so still cannot identify ind. monkeys easily]):-)

This is actually a comment from one of your older posts - I'm just now getting caught up on my blogs. Everyone I know (okay, all of three people, but still...) who's tried Etsy has loved it. I shop more and more on Etsy and less and less on eBay these days. Having said that, I de-stashed on eBay last year and used PayPal exclusively - it made the process extremely easy. Just my two cents...
