Seeing Double

See no evil .....

Hear no evil .....

Speak no evil .....

Double Trouble .....

HP 7 and 8

A note about yesterdays post

To those of you who seem concerned about the apparent cruelty shown in yesterday's post in which a knitted monkey (let's keep a little perspective here people) appeared to be involved in some kind of horrific fork jabbing incident.

Please bear in mind that 007 is in fact the archetypal Stunt Monkee who has doubled for a number of Hollywood stars as their stunt double. Take for instance Tom Cruise in MI2. You don't really think it was him hanging from that cliff at the start do you??

..... well think again

007 feels no pain. 007 laughs in the face of adversity. In fact, he was laughing in that picture. No really, he was, laughing. Hysterically.

Ok. Maybe it's me who needs to keep a check on reality .......

Cute monkeys, I have stopped letting no3 son read your blog as I can't stand the nagging, I know I am cruel but I will get round to monkey knitting soon!

oops sorry i forgot to say in my earlier post "Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog yesterday"

Reality? All it does (mostly) is get in the way, so - never mind.

My offer to 007 still stands..even though Bubba is a kegged monkey now. Unarmed (waah - an early morning pun attempt - beware!), yes, but legs he's got.

Knitted Minty Monkees. Do they keep your room smelling minty fresh? Are they specifically for bathroom use or can they be deployed in any situation?

Hmmm.. I see a whole business venture stretching out in front of me - knitted monkey room fresheners, soapy dishcloths in a monkey-shape, flavoured monkeys to add that authentic something to your home cooking (no offence MM but you did post pics of your muffins!). Oh no, I can see a really big future in this. Call me. We should talk.

ROFL you make knitting look fun. I even downloaded the pattern for the monkeys but for some reason it is in double dutch. Need to find me an interpreter.

HP7 & 8 are soooo lovely. 007 is obviously very good at his job as his stunts look so real! Tom Cruise? Wow! I can see it ...
I've gone mad today and spent two whole English pounds on some lovely acrylic monkee yarn - all I need now is a 240 hour day.
I've decided to shelve the donkey idea after all - I'm not by nature a law breaker ;)

007 is waaaaaaay better looking than Tom Cruise! And I bet he wouldn't jump on Oprah's sofa....

Love Love LOVE the newbies, definately my fave HPs so far (I knew green would be a fab monkee colour - great choice!) They're the perfect combination of beautiful AND cute. Twice!

But I want to know how? How do you do it?? Your monkee production rate is just so darn high! I'm not complaining though, I hasten to add - the more monkees the better :o) And that sack should be full in no time - hooray!

VC, production rate high b/c
a) 50 hours on a train around Sthn England
b) while on day off so no guilt about not paid working or houseworking
c)substance abuse (note rasp & white choc muffin addiction)

TWINS?!! Much cuteness not convinced about the 'no evil, bit though ;o)

oooooh congrats: TWINS!!! (& yeah, green is a surprising excellent monkey color!)

...that "reality" thingie sounds interesting...but i can't really see it catching on... :)

there is NO WAY you're gonna convince me that 007 doubled tom cruise. even with only t'internet photos to go by, it is CLEAR 007 is much, much taller than tom cruise!!!

OOF! did you hear that police have broken up quite a successful burglary ring near brockelhurst?! apparently whilst the gang were robbing attractive country cottages, they would post a pony as lookout...

Twins? Fantastic news. And green twins too? Oh what havoc they will create! Go for it HP7 and HP8.

Oh twins how sweet!

They look a bit under-ripe, perhaps you should leave them in a sunny place, or maybe in a brown paper bag with a bananananana.

I love the twins! What fun! I bet they could play some pretty crazy pranks around your house. I can't even tell them apart.

no reality - please! this is too much fun (check my blog MM)

Love the twins. They remind me of my twin nieces, only greener... with longer arms. But same mischievous glow about them.

Congrats on the new additions.

I noticed the resemblance to Tom Cruise right away.

The twins are cute! Reminds me of the old Doublemint gum ads (if this is an American thing, never mind).

Oh my gosh, I've just found your blog and I am in stitches reading about 007! I love srufing knitting blogs and it seems I've found one that can give me a really good laugh, I've really enjoyed visiting, and hope to pop back again soon.
So you live in Brighton? I lived in Sunderland for 33 years but moved to the USA with my hubby 9 years ago. All my family live in the UK still.
Thanks for making me smile this evening.
