Trout Pout

Is it just me?*

Or has HP1 had work done??

HP1 then

HP1 now

Blimey - what a set of smackers! ...... some of my earlier monkees may or may not have similar lip issues. I find that rapidly forcing two thumbs into either side of the mouth generally helps to regain the original shape. I've since remedied this rather unfortunate occurrence. Of course, some people may prefer a fuller set of lips on their primate and that's entirely their prerogative.

Ahem. Moving on ......

In other news I'm happy to report that after the trials and tribulations of last Wednesday, it was fantastic to have a proper day off yesterday ......

....... coffee and muffin at the (suspiciously quiet) Mall .......

...... and a little retail therapy here .......

See, that's what Wednesday's are meant to be about ..... unless RGH is reading this ..... in which case they're meant to be about cleaning, tidying, cooking and laundering. And one of these days I'm sure they will be about that. Sometime soon / sometime never (delete as applicable).

* by this I don't mean that I've had work done. Honest.

What did you do, break into the Mall before it openend?? There's nobody there! It's never that empty! I barely recognised it actually, since I only ever seem to be there on a Saturday, round about lunchtime (big mistake).

Anyway, Mall-disbelief over. Now I have to berate you for the existential angst you have bestowed upon me; I genuinely don't think I could make that choice (and I got quite panicky whilst trying to). I think I'd have to distract Kirsty and sneak both into my island suitcase while her back was turned. Please don't tell her.

I think you're right. Maybe that was the real reason for the trip away ; - )

Trout pout on monkee = slightly disturbing!

Hmm, there was me thinking, "oh, how wonderful to have a day off during the week," when I realised that it's Thursday, and I have the day off. Idiot.

Hie me to a coffee shop!

I was just about to say what trashalou said! Or is it Pete Burns from Dead or Alive?
Does the poking the fingers in the mouth work for human trout pouts too, I wonder?

Poor old trouty...er, I mean HP1. He could be used in a "before" and "after" advert for monkee surgery perhaps?

The day off looked much more productive than slaving over a hot duster would have been. I was just sighing in envy when I realised that I have a day off tomorrow, plus most of next week! Me, spoilt? I wish!!

I have one day off during the week for housework too. I usually manage to get it done, even with frequent knitting breaks. I could do more I suppose, but I have to stay sane.

Maybe it was the drink that did it to his lips. Petoiva

I know sometimes when I eat spicy foods, it FEELS like my lips are that swollen.

Poor monkee, maybe he got into the lip gloss that makes your lips more pouty. Mom should be sure the makeup is tucked away from curious monkee hands.

Yesterday I started my own Monkee. Can't wait to see what he looks like and what his name will be.

What is it about Monkees!?

Not those collagen injections again! Now that muffin looks rather nice.
