...... but lucky for one monkey fan. As long as they like their monkeys knitted. And pink. (Very pink.)
In yet another blatant rip-off of another blogger whose talents I admire and who is also holding a "Give that photo a name" competition today, I'm holding my very own "caption that knitted monkey photo contest"!
And yeah, so what if the Pioneer Woman had 1472 entries when she was giving away her super-duper SLR digital camera ..... she's never tried giving away a knitted monkey, has she?? I reckon I'm going to
whoop her arse! be left feeling slightly sheepish.
Hurrah! I did it! With huge thanks to trek for teaching me how to do the deleting words thingy-me-bob. It took me literally
hours moments to figure out her formula (maths) because I'm really thick quick, but now I've learnt the technique I'm going to bore people rigid with it use it sensibly.
Anyway, in order to enter my competition, you simply have to look at this photo ......
And give it a caption. And the caption I like the best wins. End of.
As lots of people are on holiday at the moment I'm giving it two whole weeks before I choose the winner (plus I may need that long to garner responses!) and you can enter as many times as you like. On this post only please (I'll link to it daily).
There's just one rule.
1. You do actually have to come back to see if you've won - mentioning no names, but MYRA, you still haven't claimed your exclusive knitted monkey back-pack. I'm giving you one more chance but heck, he's beginning to get that complex back again!
So. If you or anyone you know loves knitted monkeys and loves pink and would especially love the two combined together then get your thinking caps on and start captioning.
